Keeping Government Accountable

The last few weeks have been a roller coaster of mandates, no mandates, calls for special session, maybe calls, no calls, every day a different story.

They do this on purpose.

Constantly shifting the blame so you don’t know where to focus.

So, let’s look at what the LEGISLATURE, the GOVERNOR, and YOU can do to call for a special session and address Nebraskans needs for protections for their natural health.

Ten or more of our Senators can submit formal letters calling for a special session.

Shortly thereafter, two thirds of the legislature must submit approval of a special session.

Followed by a proclamation from the governor convening the special session.

They can only enter business for the purpose for which the special session is called.

We recommend that a special session be called to implement the protections for natural health, prevention of medical discrimination and the segregatory practices implemented as an “accommodation” to exemption.

Don’t let Governor Ricketts off the hook!

Our Governor can absolutely call for a special session in order to implement protections for the thousands and thousands of Nebraskans soon to lose their livelihoods due to unconstitutional medical mandates that violate the individual’s Civil liberty WITHOUT the need for prior support from thirty-three Senators.

It would certainly ensure a “win” for the governor as he calls it.

However, we believe there is a better and more effective message here.

IN-ACTION is a LOSS.

Getting out Senators ON THE RECORD is a win.

Being accountable to We the People, is a win! Is their job. This is their call to duty as servants to all Nebraskans.

The governor CAN and SHOULD call a special session. Anything other than doing so, is a failure to uphold his oath and to ensure our civil liberties are not infringed upon.

To ensure all Nebraskans are offered fair and equal protections we must call for the protection of our natural health.

To choose freely, without manipulation, coercion, or bullying, whether they use a mask, get tested, participate in a tracking system, recieve an injection, or none of the above.

So here’s what YOU can do!

Do not let our Governor off the hook. Call his office, email him at pete.ricketts@nebraska.gov let him know that it would be in the best interest of Nebraskans to call a special session NOW and let us worry about getting the needed support when all the Senators are called to convene.

There is no reason to wait!

Continue to reach out to YOUR senator and ask them to be one of the Senators that draft a call for special session to address our need for protections for our natural health. Just last year our unicameral passed legislation that ensures the protections from discrimination for one’s natural hair. We should without a doubt be able to implement similar legislation for natural health. A civil liberty that is often cohesive with one’s sincerely held religious beliefs and falls under their right to conscience.
