Weekly Schedule 3.28.22 – 4.01.22 and beyond…

Tuesday, 3.29

The Omaha City Council is holding a public hearing at the Douglas County Civic Center off 18th and Farnam St at 2pm.

Our Call to Action is for Item 44 ORD. 42922 – An ordinance to amend Chapter 12 of the Omaha Municipal Code . It is important we have an overwhelming presence in SUPPORT of the amended changes at the meeting!!!

If you would like to speak during the Public Hearing Please read through the process below:

There will likely be a white sheet for people providing testimony. Fill out your name, address, the item number and position taken (item 44, support), and whether you represent an organization.

When your name is called you will approach the front podium.

Re-state name and address.

Time will begin: 3minutes is the typically allotted time if a large appearance is expected.

Testimony

We have been asked to have one person address the science of masking, we’re thrilled to have Dr Ben Tapper joining us to cover this issue!!!

The rest of our members attending to provide supporting testimony have been asked to tackle the Constitutional aspect of mandates as much as possible!

We all know masks don’t work. We all know their recommendations are blatantly wrong.

What the city council needs to hear from us is the violation of our Constitutional Freedoms. Our religious beliefs, our right to conscious, and that the health decisions of law abiding citizens was never intended to be delegated to the government.

Personal examples of discrimination from establishments that hold out public services, division amongst our communities, and lack of accountability on the individuals imposing mandates are all important topics to cover. What speaks to you most, is what the council needs to hear!

If your unable to join us Tuesday at 2PM, please make sure to contact the city council with your official position and insist they support the CH12 amendment!

Last we had heard the Omaha City Council had received for more opposition to stripping the city health director of her power. Since our call to action, the emails amd phone calls have been rolling in!

However! If you wish to see our government limited and the unelected bureaucrat held accountable…. KEEP EMAILING!!!

Get your testimony together and EMAIL the Omaha City Council members to SUPPORT the amendment to Ch 12 of the Omaha Municipal Code!!!
