Sunday, March 20th, 2022 • We the Parents – Nebraska hosted a showing of the documentary Mind Polluters and ended the evening with a Candidate Forum for many of the metro area down ballot candidates.
Candidates included (right to left): Haile Kucera (Legislative District 12), Julie Fredrickson (Legislative District 20), Jim Moudry (Bellevue Public School Board), Mike Kennedy (Incumbent, Millard Public School Board, Sean Swanson (Millard Public School Board), Brittany Holtmeyer (Papillion LaVista Public School Board), Marilyn Asher (Legislative District 8), Doug Brady (Learning Community Council District 8), Luther Starks (Team Set 4 Elkhorn – Elkhorn School Board), Brian Grimm (Douglas County Assessor & Registrar of Deeds), Marni Hodgen (State Board of Education District 8), Kirk Penner (State Board of Education District 5), Tyler McGlade (Bennington Public School Board), and Lori Lowry (Gretna Public School Board).
