The 108th legislative session ended at 6:35pm today. Governor Pillen has stated there will be a special session – the question remains – how long until they’re called back?
Pillen says he doesn’t believe in halftime.
Erdman has pointed out not everyone will be here all summer long.
Brewer leaves for Ukraine in a few weeks.
Taxes are up in the air for Nebraskans!
LB1402 the reworking of LB753 (Opportunity Scholarships Act) passed today without the emergency clause. Senator Wayne was the 33rd vote, getting it across the finish line for cloture. The jury is still out on this one but we’re sure there will be more to come.

At the end of the day, the spending hasn’t been cut, the property tax relief isn’t there, and the sales taxes are going up. Sine and die.

You get what you voted for! I didn’t vote for Pillen! He is a PIG farmer who slings MUD!
