With the national attention on LB764 “Winner-Take-All,” many have been focused on the calls to action contacting our senators and governor and the upcoming rally.
As promised, while we support the call to action and have helped as much as possible behind the scenes, we have remained focused on the issues being heard on the floor that we all have been fighting for since the beginning of the session and in years past.
Big News!
LB575, Sports and Spaces, introduced by Senator Kauth, was passed out of the Education Committtee and is scheduled to hit the floor TOMORROW!!!
We would guess they’ll start it as late as possible, but also with enough time to start 4hrs before so they can get it done in one day. The agenda has not yet been released, but expect this debate to start late morning or first thing in the afternoon. UPDATES WILL COME! If you’re free, please plan to join us at the Capitol to show our support for LB575! If you show up in the afternoon, regardless of when they start, 4hrs of debate should go through a vast majority of the afternoon.

If we can get the support of all of these senators, we would have 35 yay votes! We have included democrats Senator Wayne and Bostar as they can be reasonable on issues that involve protecting the innocence of children.
We also want to give a special welcome to Senator McDonnell following his announcement made yesterday about switching to the Republican Party after being persecuted for his beliefs as a Christian.
“In 1984, I registered as a Democrat. I was a Christian, a member of the Roman Catholic Church and Pro-Life. In 2016, l ran as a Pro-Life candidate for Legislative District 5. When I ran for re-election in 2020, l was Pro-Life. I have asked the Democratic Party to respect my religious based pro-life position. Instead, over the last year, they have decided to punish me for being Pro-Life. The Douglas County Democrats voted not to seat me as a delegate and not to share party resources with me because I am Pro-Life. The State Democratic Party voted to censure me because I am Pro-Life. Being a Christian, a member of the Roman Catholic Church, and Pro-Life is more important to me than being a registered Democrat. Today, I am changing my party affiliation to Republican.”

Many would now say we have a filibuster proof 33 Republican representation on the floor. While this is mathematically correct, there are still many issues in which one or a few Republicans stray from the majority will of the party and its platform.
In the case of LB575, we want to be mindful of this reality and recommend a specially supportive and encouraging message to some of the senators. Senators Riepe, Brandt, Hughes, and Ibach. At this time, they have said they’re all supportive, so no need to go on the attack. Simply encourage their continued support and express your own reasons for your support!
Do keep in mind that Senator Cavanaugh is preparing to filibuster every minute of LB575! The good news at this time is that she’s promised to limit her filibuster to only LB575 so as not to interfere with other important Nebraska business.
LR335 HEARING UPDATE
We want to update everyone on Halloran’s hearing. The Executive Board decided not to vote on a censure and instead submitted a letter of reprimand. This was a lesser measure that carries no consequence but gave Michaela Cavanaugh her few minutes to scream at the floor about how they did nothing to support her.
Truly! Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit online comments, send emails, and make phone calls! Your time and effort helped support a true statesman who has stood alongside us with the goal of protecting Nebraska children.

I understand there is a need to focus on the topic tomorrow. There is also the FACT that IF WE DONT WIN IN NOVEMBER OUR COUNTRY WILL BE RUINED BEYOND REPAIR!!! Look at the damage done over the last three years!! If there is a way to get the winner take all leg through that has to be the focus! If we don’t get Trump back in office we are going to be taken over by globalists!! Get serious and actually think about humanity for a minute .
We stand for the children. They deserve SOMEONE to stand up for them. Humanity demands it!!!
Just keep in mind we can and do more than one thing at a time. If you’d like to skip out on the kids and devote your time to Trump, that is your choice. We believe that our power to save Nebraskans is within our state!
