CALL TO ACTION. Stop the CENSURE!

Leave a comment of support for Senator Halloran.  The same Senators who don’t have time for parents rights or school choice, claim school porn is good for kids, are NOW going to make time (with only 10 days left of session mind you) to censure someone who read from a school library book during floor debate. Hypocrisy at its finest!

The facts and details of the situation are lost on the supporters for censure. We can point out that Halloran was not talking about or even to Michaela Cavanaugh. We can point out that others have made equally vulgar comments on the floor and directed at others in the past. The issue to drive home is that Halloran was making a very important point that the content found in public schools, if too vulgar for the floor, is too obscene for schools. The reaction from the democrats PROVES this to be true. If adults are so incredibly offended, students in K-12 should not have access to the material in the public school and library setting. The senators have immunity for free speech for this very reason!! Senators must be able to freely discuss these issues and make solid arguments without recourse of censure. Had Hallorans comments been irrelevant to the bill being discussed, this would be a completely different situation.

  1. I support Senator Halloran as he tries to make other senators aware of the type of materials accessible to students in our schools. Once people are aware of what happened during the interaction, they also will support Senator Halloran.

  2. It pains me deeply to witness the unwarranted verbal assault my brother, a God-fearing, family-oriented, and patriotic American, has endured at the hands of the media and certain extreme factions within our society.

My brother, a man of impeccable character and integrity, has been unjustly vilified for simply expressing his concerns about the content of certain materials available in our school libraries. Rather than focusing on the troubling content of these materials, attention has been diverted to criticizing his delivery and distorting his words to fit a biased narrative.

It is inconceivable to me that while our tax dollars fund these educational institutions, they also provide access to literature that is not only obscene but fundamentally inappropriate for the young minds entrusted to their care. The focus should rightfully be on the content of these books, which have no place in our schools, rather than on my brother’s actions in bringing attention to them.

I urge you to support measures that ensure the removal of such offensive materials from our school libraries, safeguarding the innocence and well-being of our future generations.

Let’s not allow partisan agendas and media sensationalism to overshadow the fundamental principles of decency and accountability. Let’s work towards a future where our educational institutions uphold the highest standards of excellence and integrity.

    I hereby oppose LR335.

    Sincerely,
    Julie Halloran

  3. I support senator halloran and his attempt to Make others aware of what is being made accessible in our school libraries! As a long time taxpayer and citizen, it is very offensive to allow these things for children to see! Shame on you For allowing this to be seen by our children!

  4. Trying to censure Senator Steve Halloran for reading portions of a book that is currently in our schools (that should not be) is absolutely wrong! If the comments he read aloud are too vulgar for the adults in government or city councils, then they are too vulgar to be in our schools for our children to read. The silencing and censuring of government officials and parents for speaking out about this violates free speech. Again, if it is too vulgar and obscene for adults to read and hear, it is even more vulgar for our children to be reading and picturing what is being said and DO NOT belong in our schools.

  5. KE TV would not even read the book on television yet some people think it’s entirely appropriate for our children to read this filth in school libraries.

  6. I support Senator Halloran! This censure is RI-DIC-U-LOUS!!! This whole thing of allowing children to have access to this kind of sexual material is disgusting! Talk about trauma of their brains! And just who’d pay for the therapy needed, caused by the trauma induced if kids see & read this crap!?!? Huh?!?! Whoever supports this, you are sick, evil people & you’re what’s wrong with our state & country!

  7. So Ernie Chambers comment about bringing a gun to the chambers was not as bad as reading from a book which should not be in our school system at all. No one is banging or burning books, why are they pushing so hard to indoctrinate children into pornography and God knows what else?

  8. I support Senator Halloran. Putting the type of materials in schools that are sexually explicit is just wrong. It is my job to teach my children about sex. Children should not be exposed to the kinds of things that people want to push!

  9. Our family and our relatives support Senator Halloran. We are watching and will use our resources and our words to support him as he stands for us. For those who stand against him it is recordered in Heaven and for all history it will be remembered of his honorable acts, but also the dishonorable acts against him. His enemies will be scattered!!!!!

  10. I support Halloran, and don’t waste time trying to censure him. You’ve got a job to complete more important bills, in the next ten days. You’re all adults you can handle the disgusting words, but children in grade school and middle school should not be exposed to those books.

  11. Done!

The material Senator Halloran read from is available to our youth. Nebraska government officials are allowing our children to be exposed to abusive erotic content that is so severe it should be censured. Even a grown woman cries upon hearing and imagining the scene. What more can it do to our youth. Saying sexually abusive material in the hands of minors is supporting rape victims is unbelievable. You do not heal girls by exposing them to more violence. Senator Cavanaugh should be reprimanded for her contribution in allowing abusive, sexually explicit materials in the hands of Nebraska youth. Senator Halloran had to make an impact. It’s disgusting Senator Cavanaugh should censor her peer for reading works she support keeping in the hands of Nebraska youth.

  12. I support Senator Halloran. Adults must stop turning a deaf ear and blind eye to what happens in our schools. If you don’t like what you heard , he proved his point.

  13. Thank you Senator Halloran for standing up for what is right!!!!!
If they have such a problem attaching thier name to this kind of material, maybe they shouldn’t support it.

  14. Hello! I realize I am too late to get a good-quality response in. However, I would like to commend Senator Halloran for his rationale.

Also, I have comments about the attitudes being expressed. If those who wrote and sponsored this LR335 have children, they must think their children have more ability to determine how to relate to the ‘unfit for Senate chamber’ material than they themselves do. If those writers/sponsors do not have children, then they apparently look forward to others growing up to put more ‘progressive’ materials in school and society. Just think how HORRIFIC the communication will be in the Senate chamber then!!! But, by that time, they’ll probably be out of office–so WHO CARES?

Or maybe those writers/sponsors DO have children, but they’re able to enroll their children in other schools that bow down to the parents’ expectations of decent materials, so THEIR children aren’t affected by what’s presented in public schools. WHO CARES about other kids? MINE are protected!!!

Hm! I’ve heard that defined as rotten, hypocritical conservatives. And it’s associated with churches whose members say “EVERYONE is welcome!” AH! but don’t come in here if you have a drinking problem, or a drug addiction, or a smelly body (due to being homeless and broke), or if you’re not in the in-group, or other non-controllable ‘problems/offenses” or anything offensive. [Of course, if those who are having difficulty with the economy just worked a little harder or took less-than-desirable jobs (say, prostitution?), then they would have no need to ‘be undesirable themselves’ right? But, of course, then their lifestyle/’job’ would be unacceptable. Well. Can’t win for losing…?!]

So my passion/purpose! Let’s We the People unite and work to restore our Constitutional Republic to one nation under God. Look up StopWorldControl.com and DiEM25.org and Project2025.org and CauseofAmerica.org and RTMSwitch.com and find out what’s REALLY happening in the world and WHY. Remember U.S. citizens: We the People are governed by OUR consent (which we’ve let lapse, allowing evil/corruption to take control as in this instance–SHAME on us!); divided we fall (along with other world citizens); commUNIcaTE (research, get together, talk, research, talk, find solutions). Be willing and ready to take further ‘local’ (as in attending Board/Council meetings, not JUST voting) ACTION–especially tell EVERYONE about salvation in Jesus Christ (whether it’s the End Times or not). Above all–PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! PRAYers and God’s Blessings in Jesus Christ!
