NAGO Assessment:
1. Must be Peaceful, Respectful and Fully Law Abiding (#1 Rule of NAGO) – Not to be confused with complying to tyrannical or overreaching law.
PASS.
2. Supports and Participates in NAGO Calls to Action
FAIL. Jared has never shown any interest in participating in or supporting NAGO Calls to Action.
3. Supports Individual Freedoms
Unknown.
4. Supports and Participates with Liberty Minded NE Grassroots Efforts – Team Player
FAIL.
5. Attends Local Meetings
PASS/FAIL. Jared occasionally attends the Butler County or Saunders County GOP meetings, of course his participation did not start until AFTER he’d decided to run for office. Jared does attend the local livestock association meetings.
6. Presents a Sense of Patriotism
FAIL. Jared doesn’t come across as a guy fighting for anything.
7. Outspoken/Well-spoken on Inalienable Rights
FAIL. Jared has failed to speak up on numerous occasions.
8. Doesn’t Cater to False Narratives
FAIL. Storm has been convinced that EPIC Option (eliminating Property, Income, and Corporate taxes) isn’t the answer due to false narratives he’s been provided.
9. Acts/Serves/Talks/Promises in the Best Interest of Others – Type of Leader
FAIL. Other than his recent campaigning, we have nothing but Jared’s word to begin to have an idea of what type of leader he would be. Unfortunately, Jared is often stifled by the consulting group he is working with, Axiom Strategies (a notoriously corrupt entity). When asked about this, Jared ignored the question asked of him.
10. Prior Involvement/Achievements in Liberty Minded Efforts or Government
FAIL. Prior to his decision to run for office, Jared Storm has had little to no political involvement.
SCORE: 1.5/10
Summary of Candidate
Jared Storm, while a nice enough guy, is a loose promise. There are no actions or efforts on his part that would indicated Jared will stand to preserve our liberties nor halt government overreach. Aside from the importance of agriculture here in Nebraska, Jared seems to have little insight to offer.
Pertinent Evidence & Observations
Jared Storm attended the Butler County Truth in Taxation meeting where he ultimately chose not to speak following the advice of his consulting group. Obviously, if it’s controversial, Jared Storm cannot be counted on.
