NAGO Assessment:
1. Must be Peaceful, Respectful and Fully Law Abiding (#1 Rule of NAGO) – Not to be confused with complying to tyrannical or overreaching law.
FAIL. Rex Schoder has been charged with animal cruelty in 2003. He was found not guilty by a jury. Rex also has a history of disrespecting women he is seeking relations with and making public statements of libel against other individuals.
2. Supports and Participates in NAGO Calls to Action
FAIL. Rex had in the past supported and participated in NAGO Calls to Action. However, after sharing support of other candidates, Rex has shown that the support was contingent on the benefit he feels he’s receiving.
3. Supports Individual Freedoms
PASS/FAIL. Rex absolutely supports individual freedoms, unfortunately he also stands with a team that pushes initiatives in the name of individual freedom that would harm or hinder the freedom he claims to support.
4. Supports and Participates with Liberty Minded NE Grassroots Efforts – Team Player
PASS/FAIL. Rex supports the efforts that his team is allowed to participate in due to their nuisance tendencies. Most Grassroots Efforts have banned Schroder, Hicks, and Connely from participation. (To be clear they are being banned not because they are scared of what they might say, but how they say it. They’re fringe and no one wants anything to do with them.)
5. Attends Local Meetings
PASS. Rex attends all meetings he can.
6. Presents a Sense of Patriotism
FAIL. Rex has in the past presented a sense of patriotism, however, since the entrance of another running candidate in the same race, Rex has abandoned all sense of intent of presenting patriotism.
7. Outspoken/Well-spoken on Inalienable Rights
PASS/FAIL. Rex definitely speaks on inalienable rights, he is certainly the best speaker of the 3 that travel together, unfortunately Rex has abandoned all focus on inalienable rights to launch an attack on another candidate.
8. Doesn’t Cater to False Narratives
FAIL. Rex may not cater to the false narratives of the government. Unfortunately, he will cater to the false narratives provided by Jennifer Hicks and Michael Connely. Most recently, he launched a libel attack on another candidate that is false.
9. Acts/Serves/Talks/Promises in the Best Interest of Others – Type of Leader
FAIL. In response to a challenge and feeling defeated Rex has shown that he will launch false accusations and then block the people being accused and their team/friends from commenting on the lies. For a person who trumpets transparency, Rex has failed miserably at remaining transparent in the face of a challenge.
10. Prior Involvement/Achievements in Liberty Minded Efforts or Government
FAIL. Rex was booted from the Palmyra Village Board following being accused of animal cruelty. (Source below)
SCORE: 2.5/10
Summary of Candidate
Rex Schroder has admitted to taking “free stuff all the time” yet claims to take NO donations and has NOT filed with the NADC. This SHOULD disqualify him from running.
In the images below you will see a conversation between Rex Schroder and Elliot Bottorf. They were discussing the image of a mock logo professional graphic artist Elliot had put together as an example of what he could offer Rex and Rex stole the image of a picture on a computer screen to use for his logo. Despite recent allegations that Fanchon Blythe was threatening Rex over the logo recently, Rex has known that he did not have rights to this logo long before Bob Borer entered the race for SoS. We know this, because Allie French specifically stated this to him at the State Capitol on the election integrity public hearing day. Rex also attempts to accuse Bob Borer of bribing him to drop out of the race – this is a false accusation. Rex was complaining to Bob about having entered the race when he was already in the race (even though he’s made zero traction) and was upset he’d spent $850 on filing fees and what not, at which time Bob did offer to reimburse him because he felt badly. No one at any time affiliated with NAGO or Bob Borer’s campaign have attempted to obstruct the Rex Schroder campaign. It’s not worth the time.
Rex Schroder has proven to be running a completely dishonest and illegitimate campaign.
Pertinent Evidence & Observations
The former Palmyra Village Board chairman accused of animal cruelty was found not guilty of the misdemeanor charges by an Otoe County jury Monday, said state Assistant Attorney General Bill Howland.
Rex Schroder, 30, had been charged in July with three counts of animal cruelty.
“I guess the jury did their job, and Ican’t say anything about it,” said Heather Bruns, the woman who launched a recall effort against Schroder.
Bruns alleged Schroder, her neighbor, had trapped and killed her cat and a stray cat and trapped her dog in his yard.
Palmyra voters removed Schroder from office in a special election on Aug. 5 by a margin of 130 votes to 55. Nearly half of the village’s registered voters cast ballots.
Schroder was elected to the five-member Village Board in 1998 and again in 2002. He did not return a phone message seeking comment on the verdict Monday evening.

Image source for Rule#1: As you can see this conversation is long predating Rex running for SoS.

Conversation between Rex Schroder and Elliot Bottorf. As you can see Rex is not a nice person and will blatantly lie and make things up to try to manipulate you. Since this time Dr Frank continues to support these individuals and has endorsed Bob Borer for Secretary of State.

Take special note of this portion of the conversation where Rex Schroder admits to taking free stuff all the time. Yet he has not disclosed any information to the NADC. Whether he has raised 5k dollars or not, you would think a candidate for SoS that touts transparency would run a campaign that is monetarily transparent. This is also a discussion that Allie French has attempted to advise Rex Schroder on. He insists he’s not raised 5k dollars in the 5 months he’s been campaigning.
