6. Presents a Sense of Patriotism
FAIL.
7. Outspoken/Well-spoken on Inalienable Rights
FAIL.
8. Doesn’t Cater to False Narratives
PASS/FAIL. Though Dennis has tried as of late to make a stand against some false narratives, he often comes across as if he’s telling us someone else’s thoughts on the issue.
9. Acts/Serves/Talks/Promises in the Best Interest of Others – Type of Leader
PASS. Fujan is more likely to be open to input in areas that aren’t his expertise. We can appreciate the willingness to listen.
10. Prior Involvement/Achievements in Liberty Minded Efforts or Government
PASS/FAIL. Dennis Fujan has served on the American Soybean Association. This level of involvement in a special interest group leaves little confidence that Dennis has an uncompromised involvement in our government and the overreach into our agricultural community.
Fujan also doesn’t have much involvement outside of the Agricultural community, which also means he is more likely to be open to input in other areas. He may not be compromised in these areas and it can be expected Fujan would follow suit of the other conservative senators.
SCORE: 6.5/10
Summary of Candidate
Dennis Fujan just wants to be a positive contributor of his community. At the very least, over the last year, we have come to appreciate Dennis’s transparency in finances and campaigning. Do we believe Dennis Fujan would be a mover and shaker among the unicameral? No, but, we can be certain he wouldn’t lie and will do his best to vote according to the expectations of local and state party efforts.
