URGENT: LPS Board Meeting

The LPS Board will vote on Monday whether to PERMANENTLY LIMIT PUBLIC COMMENT to 3 minutes each as well as other stifling measures.
1️⃣ Make phone calls to LPS Board members before Monday – they told the public to contact them via phone! (See comments below for info)

Annie didn’t express support but is likely being pressured to go along with the vote as a show of unity. Encourage her not to betray her constituents for the sake of getting along, and remember to join us this Monday for a protest when they are scheduled to vote on this.

Talking Points:

Keep the time at 5 minutes to allow the public to say what they need to say.
Do not place extra hurdles in the way of parents trying to express themselves.
We should be making fewer hurdles not more
Don’t try to control what parents wear to the meetings.
Don’t restrict my access to see visual aids that the public is presenting at a public meeting.
Stop dehumanizing parents and children by refusing to show their faces.
Do they really prefer calls to this number rather than hearing from me at the meeting?
