Violation of the Law

Current Senator, and candidate for reelection, Megan Hunt has violated 2 state statutes by attempting yet another likely “joke”.
Unfortunately, this time Megan Hunt has violated the law by committing a willfully false swearing to the Republican Party as well as continuing to conduct Democratic behavior that directly violates the NE Republican Party oath.

Please contact the following officials demanding Megan Hunt be held accountable for this blatant violation.

Douglas County Election Commission – questions@votedouglascounty.com

Brian Kruse Douglas County Election Commissioner – brian.kruse@douglascounty-ne.gov

SoS Election Commission – sos.elect@nebraska.gov

SoS Bob Evnan – Robert.evnen@nebraska.gov

Douglas County Republican Chair – chairman@dcrponline.com

NEGOP Chair – Taylor@negop.org

P.S. This has NOTHING to do with a Nonpartisan race. This is a violation of the law. We are asking that charges be filed by the appropriate person and Hunt be held accountable for treating our elections as a joke that can be manipulated by jumping parties and trying to play TWO parties.

  1. I asked Brian Kruse about Megan Hunt today at the ABRW luncheon. He said there is no law to keep voter from switching parties as many times as they want too. Even if they are running for State Senator because that is a Non-Partisan position. Which is crazy!

  2. I’m very glad to see that you guys have addressed this. I was outraged when I found out that she switched and was registered Republican. I certainly hope that something can come of this. It was a shady move. It may be legal, I don’t know. But if it is, that doesn’t make it right.
